Module 2: Sinus Augmentation Protocols
This module will focus exclusively on sinus augmentation surgeries. Techniques discussed will feature placement of implants in maxillae with deficient bone due to atrophic sinuses. Both lateral window and crestal approach techniques will be discussed including single stage and two stage variations. Minimally invasive techniques that can be employed in routine dental practices will be presented.
This module runs for 3 days with two days dedicated to didactics and the last day dedicated to live patient demonstration surgery by DACE faculty followed by program participants involvement. Didactics will cover proper diagnosis & treatment planning protocols, guidelines & management of complications.
